Job Description

Become a pivotal part of a leading tech company’s creative team as a 3D Artist, shaping the future of digital art experiences. Your expertise will directly influence the creation of high-quality, real-time production art, setting the standard for content creation on a massive scale. Collaborate with a talented team of engineers, technical artists, and designers to bring innovative visions to life.

As a key contributor, you will:

  • Translate high-level artistic vision into tangible, real-time production art.
  • Develop exemplary key art to guide large-scale content creation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical artists to optimize asset creation pipelines.
  • Provide constructive feedback on externally developed projects with vendors.
  • Define asset authoring guidelines, processes, and pipelines.
  • Swiftly address challenges alongside a diverse team of experts.
  • Engage in collaborative iteration based on team needs.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a 3D artist specializing in sculpting, modeling, and texturing characters, with a portfolio showcasing at least three shipped titles.
  • Proven experience creating human and creature 3D art.
  • Versatility in various artistic styles, with a focus on stylized art.
  • Effective communication skills within a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, artists, and designers.
  • Proficiency with at least one commercial game engine (e.g., Unreal or Unity).
  • Expertise in digital content creation tools such as Maya, Houdini, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, ZBrush, and Photoshop.
  • Experience managing and directing external development.
  • Broad technical expertise to support diverse artistic and technical objectives.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50 to $60 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
