Responsibilities
This position does require the ability to pass the first available Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) class, the ability and flexibility to work weekends, as well as this position is also physically demanding requiring the ability to stand/bend/move/stoop/lift various luggage weighing up to 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
o This is an Airline Baggage Supervisor (aka RAC Supervisor) position starting at $18.00 per hour

o Previous 1-2+ years of supervisor and customer service experience are preferred - Paid Training
o This job involves being on your feet for long periods of time and handling bags weighing up to 75 lbs
o Must be in very good physical condition
o Must have reliable transportation
o Starting Pay $18.00/hour

A Baggage Supervisor works at an airport facility and oversees the Baggage Handling operation.
Responsibilities include oversight of the Baggage operation to ensure that all passengers requiring assistance are in a manner that exceeds expectations. This position may also include assisting with moving luggage at the check-in counter. Baggage Supervisors must maintain a friendly and positive attitude and always be attentive to each passenger’s individual needs.Communicating effectively and clearly. Asking each passenger the safety and security questions
This hands on position is physically demanding and requires on-the-job security training and the ability to receive all applicable airport security badges.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers and to communicate with customers and fellow employees. In addition, the employee is required to of twist, turn, stretch, and bend on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly. The employee must be able to move in a relatively quick manner. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Peripheral vision and Ability to adjust focus.
Salary Range : $18.00 per hour
