Job Title: General Manager

Location: Knoxville, TN

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $80k-$85K

Industry: Commercial Aviation

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily station operations including financial, customer service, and operational performance.
• Manage and communicate the Safety Management System (SMS) and station safety plan.
• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and FAA/TSA regulations.
• Provide Quality Assurance oversight for performance and safety, implementing corrective/preventative actions.
• Train/retrain personnel on airline/airport procedures, safety, and company policies.
• Serve as liaison between local airport/airline managers, FAA representatives, and the company.
• Monitor employee performance, provide counseling, and handle employee relations.
• Prepare and submit required FAA and company reports.
• Conduct quality assurance service audits and analyze audit trends.
• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and provide necessary resources (PPE, safe equipment).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of general management experience in aviation
• Previous below the wing experience required (i.e. ramp, cargo/baggage, ground operations, etc.)
• Reliable transportation to/from the airport
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external partners and team members
• Strong leadership abilities, training and coaching skills, and experience in managing a staff schedule
