Job Title: Appliance Installation Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Appliance Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, setting up, and testing appliances, ensuring they function correctly and safely for customers. You will also be required to provide excellent customer service and answer any questions related to the installation process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, connect, and test various appliances (e.g., refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, etc.)
• Follow all safety guidelines and manufacturer’s instructions during installation
• Ensure appliances are level, properly secured, and connected to utilities (water, electricity, etc.)
• Conduct post-installation checks to verify appliance functionality
• Provide customers with product instructions, demonstrate proper use, and answer any questions
• Troubleshoot installation issues or appliance malfunctions
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and properly dispose of packaging materials
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
• Handle necessary paperwork and documentation for each job
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in appliance installation or related field (e.g., electrical, plumbing)
• Strong knowledge of appliance systems and installation procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve installation issues
• Excellent customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift heavy appliances and work in a physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and local regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in appliance installation or related trade
• Experience with various appliance brands and models
• Basic knowledge of connecting washer hose’s, dryer cords/ducts, refrigerator water lines, putting together couches and tables. Also bed frames as well.
