Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Installer to join our client's team in the appliance industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, setup, and initial testing of home and commercial appliances, ensuring that they function correctly and meet customer expectations. This role requires attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and technical knowledge of various appliances.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation : Install home and commercial appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, ovens, and other kitchen or household appliances according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Setup and Testing : Connect appliances to electrical, gas, or water supply lines, and perform initial testing to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety codes.
Customer Interaction : Communicate with customers to provide installation instructions, answer any questions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Troubleshooting : Diagnose and troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation, offering immediate solutions or scheduling follow-up maintenance when necessary.
Safety and Compliance : Ensure that all installations are completed in line with local building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records of installations, including any issues or adjustments made, and report these to the relevant department.
Team Coordination : Work closely with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely and efficient installations, resolving any logistical issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
Experience : 3+ years of experience as an appliance installer or technician in the appliance industry.
Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of electrical, gas, and plumbing connections as they relate to appliance installations.
Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in appliance installation, HVAC, or electrical work are a plus.
Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and move heavy appliances, work in tight spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Customer Service : Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
