Job Description
Job Title: Art Conservator
Place of Performance: Denver, Colorado
Duties:
The objects are to be safely moved to the designated preservation site and protective covers are to be removed where applicable.
Objects shall be free from dust, dirt, grime, detritus, and any other foreign object(s).
Damages should be repaired and/or minimized.
Stabilize the structure of the models.
Objects are to be protected from exposure to damaging elements and unauthorized access.
Requirement:
Master’s degree in conservation.
Previous experience in similar position (No less than 3 years).
Knowledge of art restoration and preservation techniques.
Ability to develop and maintain processes for handling artwork
