Position Title: Assembler

Wage: $16.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am – 3:00pm

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Assembler at a company in Beloit, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now!

Assembler Responsibilities:
- Perform one or more assembly or subassembly operations to mass produce products such as pressure fryers, ventless fryers, pressure smokers, broilers, filters, accessory items and related foodservice equipment into a finished product
- Bolt, clip, screw, cement or fasten parts and subassemblies together by hand, or using hand or portable tools
- Use equipment such as arbor press, drill press, riveting machine, or tube flarer
- File, saw, deburr and drill parts using hand or power tools
- Aligns parts with jigs, fixtures or templates
- Conduct assembly checks and fill out necessary paperwork and test sheets
- Load equipment on skids and moves to shipping department for packing and crating
- Crate small product lines

Requirements for Assembler:
- Able to lift up to 35lbs 
- Able to stand for duration of shift 
- Able to sit, bend, kneel, squat, reach, push, pull, climb and walk for alternate periods of time
- Able to read, write and communicate in English
- Basic math skills
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools and assembly functions
- Able to understand blueprints and use basic measuring instruments
- Able to read wiring schematics
