We are looking for a dedicated Associate to join our boutique litigation team in Chicago, Illinois. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney with 2 to 6 years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance coverage matters. Candidates will have the opportunity to hone their research, analytical, and writing skills while contributing to complex legal cases.

Responsibilities:
• Handle a variety of litigation cases, with a focus on insurance coverage disputes.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide detailed analysis.
• Draft high-quality legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage discovery processes, including document review and preparation of responses.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions.
• Collaborate with team members to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Maintain clear and precise communication with clients and opposing counsel.
• Stay updated on relevant legal precedents and changes in insurance law.
• Ensure compliance with all procedural requirements and deadlines.
• Contribute to the overall success of the firm through active participation in case management.• Possess 2 to 6 years of litigation experience, with a focus on insurance coverage.
• Demonstrate exceptional research and analytical skills.
• Exhibit strong legal writing abilities for drafting precise legal documents.
• Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and be licensed to practice law in Illinois.
• Have experience managing discovery and handling court proceedings.
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Show a proactive approach to case management and problem-solving.
• Maintain a commitment to growth and continuous learning.
