The Biomedical Program includes healthcare technology strategic planning, pre-purchase assessment, acquisition support, implementation coordination, equipment management, training, and technical support activities on VISN equipment initiatives. Duties As a Biomedical Engineer for the VA Desert Pacific Healthcare Network you will report directly to the VISN Chief Healthcare Technology manager, and will provide professional engineering support to a complex, technically sophisticated, and service oriented Biomedical Engineering Program. You will be a professional consultant and advisor on healthcare technology matters to Network executive management, Network Program Officers, executive management at all medical centers and clinical service lines, and facility department directors.
