This Business Intelligence Task Lead will be working on a dynamic team supporting applications on the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) military cloud. Serco supports the U.S. Navy as the prime contractor for their Integrated Readiness Modeling, Technical and Professional

Support Services contract. Our team conducts analysis, builds tailored BI products and provides software development and lifecycle support for a portfolio of integrated applications used by the Navy to determine future fleet readiness requirements.

You will be part of a 24-member team that works closely with the customer to ensure that our Navy is accurately resourced to provide the required level of maritime combat readiness.

ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $83,365.11 - $138,941.85; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

In this role you will:

• Develop, design, and maintain dashboards and analytics.
• Collect, refine, and prepare data for analytics and visualization.
• Manage and utilize dashboard platforms (mainly Tableau) to extract meaningful insights.
• Prepare reports using various visualization and data modeling methods.
• Collect data from various data sources and normalize it.
• Test and publish dashboards and reports and schedule refresh.
• Drill-down data and prepare reports with increased levels of detail.
• Apply algorithms and statistical methods to obtain answers from data.
• Solve data or performance issues related to workbooks and data sources

• ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• An ACTIVE SECRET clearance.
• A bachelors degree in business, engineering, math, science, statistics, or a related field (4 years additional experience substitutes for a bachelors degree) .
• 5+ years experience in data analytics/ database querying tools, and business intelligence (BI) work supporting complex Automated Information System (AIS) projects.
• Knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, data mapping, data analysis, and data visualization.
• Knowledge and experience in Excel, PL/SQL, ETL, and the Tableau platform.
• The ability to recognize, define and solve BI problems.

A plus for succeeding in this position would be any of the following:

• Proficient in Microsoft O365
• Proficient in commercial BI tools such as TABLEAU, POWER BI, QLIK
• Experience with government databases such as AVANA/JUPITER
• Familiar with Fleet Readiness Reporting
