Job Description and Duties

State Compensation Insurance Fund is looking for a Senior Vice President (SVP) of Safety & Health Services.

Key Responsibilities :

Under the administrative direction of State Fund’s Chief Operating Officer, the SVP of Safety & Health Services is responsible for, and oversees, all activities under State Fund’s Safety & Health Services program. The SVP develops and implements strategies, policies, procedures, and guidelines regarding the provision of safety & health services that that have a statewide impact on workplace safety and the wellbeing of California businesses and employees. This position frequently interacts with State Fund’s executive team, as well as third party stakeholders, such as National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and Cal OSHA, to set policies, best practices and implement compliant, effective programs and services.

Salary : Commensurate with experience.

Location : This is a Statewide recruitment and may be headquartered in any State Fund office. Those offices include Bakersfield, Eureka, Fresno, Glendale, Pleasanton, Redding, Riverside, Rohnert Park, Sacramento, Santa Ana, Stockton, or Vacaville.
