Summary: Seeking a Cabinet Finisher II for the 2nd shift to prepare and finish aircraft furniture using various techniques and tools.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Two years of experience in wood finishing

• Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products

• Working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the aerospace industry

Responsibilities:

• Prepare furniture for finish and disassembly using blueprints, aircraft specifications, and design/engineering drawings

• Perform high-quality repairs to finished surfaces both in-shop and on aircraft

• Clean, polish blemishes, and prepare aircraft for delivery

• Apply finishes using spray equipment and manual/mechanical methods

• Utilize sandpapers, polishes, adhesives, solvents, hand tools, and power tools for furniture finishing

• Comply with safety, 5S, housekeeping policies; use personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Use material tracking system for parts demand creation, squawk tracking, and work sign-off

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
