Position Overview:
As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students across various grade levels and disabilities, providing individualized instruction, developing IEPs, and collaborating with parents and staff to support student growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet student needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.
Qualifications:
Valid Michigan teaching certification with Special Education endorsement.
Bachelors degree in Education or related field (Masters preferred).
Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Compensation:
