Salary: $85,000 - $90,000

Job Summary

Working as the Chef Manager for a premier corporate client, you will be responsible for the overall operations of employee dining amenities including a small corporate cafe and barista bar. You will manage a team of <7 hourly associates, conduct inventory and ordering and ensure a hospitality centered guest experience.

This is a Monday through Friday position with occasional evening responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
• Ensure safe and sanitary operations per program standards
• Maintains food and labor cost while ensuring quality standards
• Manages purchasing and inventory controls
• Model R/A's culture of CARE and ensure hospitality- centric experiences for all internal and external guests
• Use culinary expertise and experience to execute catering functions

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years minimum of culinary management experience
• Self-starter, innovative and ability to multitask
• Maintains a positive attitude under pressure and motivate team
• Must be knowledgeable on HACCP controls along with proper storage and use of food
• Purchasing, food storage and sanitation experience
• Knowledge of budgets, labor costs, inventory controls
• Strong leadership, coaching and training skills
• Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based purchasing programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional business etiquette and client relations
• Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior
• ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus
