Shift / Hours: AM shift: 6 or 7 (varies) and PM shift 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Location: West Jordan, UT
Pay Rate: $24.50-$25.00/hr
About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Equipment Operator to safely operate gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric-powered equipment in a distribution center. The role involves moving products, equipment, and materials while ensuring compliance with safety standards and proper equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using powered industrial equipment.
Inspect and maintain equipment daily, ensuring cleanliness and proper operation.
Safely unload shipments and store products in assigned locations.
Prepare products for shipment, verifying correct quantity and type.
Transfer products from storage to transport vehicles efficiently.
Maintain accurate records for inventory control and assist with physical counts.
Follow all safety practices and report unsafe conditions promptly.
Collaborate with Customer Service, Transportation, and other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
Ability to complete post-hire assessments and obtain required certifications (e.g., OSHA).
Capable of wearing personal protective equipment as required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
