Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, collaboration, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Buffalo, NY

Pay Range: $30 - $44

Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday (flexible start times available), and 6:30 AM - 12:00 PM on Fridays

What's the Job?

• Set up, program, and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills
• Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to determine machining requirements
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes

What's Needed?

• Prior CNC Machinist experience
• Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations
• Experience with tooling selection and setup for various machining operations
• Familiarity with CAD software, particularly Mastercam and SolidWorks, for interpreting designs
• Understanding of CAM programming is beneficial
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
