Position Type Reports to Volunteer Executive Director JOB SUMMARY The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for fostering relationships with community organizations and managing the season ticket program. This role involves coordinating ticket giveaways, supporting patron services, and promoting our artistic endeavors to diverse audiences. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborates with partners and nonprofits to promote events. Coordinates ticket giveaways, discounts, and special promotions to attract diverse audiences. Manages the season ticket holder experience, including renewals and special requests. Organizes group sales efforts, including outreach to potential groups and coordination of seating. Handles the distribution of complimentary tickets for major performances. Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills that align with and support the organization’s Mission and Core Values. Complies with the organization’s by-laws, policies, procedures, and code of conduct; seeks clarification and guidance as necessary. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES Excellent communication and writing skills. Understanding of diverse cultures, identities, and perspectives. Proficiency with customer service and patron relations. Strong organizational and project management skills. SUPPORT Connection to current and past partners for developing opportunities. Training to operate season ticket software and how to perform outreach. Assistance to create forms and processes from other staff. PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT Work involves talking, and hearing; using hands to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
