TRC Talent is working alongside a growing manufacturer in Gainesville, Georgia as they seek a Compensation Consultant for an ongoing project. This position is slated to last about three months. The company is undergoing a transformation of its career framework, internal job classification system, and compensation structure. This role will help build and implement a modern, equitable system aligned with strategic goals and future workforce needs. This is a fully onsite role in Gainesville.

 

The Consultant will be working closely with HR, functional Directors, and external consultants to define and execute job bands, classifications, and performance management processes including clear pathways for internal growth.

 

Key Project Goals:

Compensation Strategy & Job Architecture

Design, align, and implement career framework and job classification system
Build job classification and leveling models
Reclassify roles
Job Evaluation & Realignment

Review and validate job descriptions against actual duties
Collaborate with department heads to understand daily responsibilities
Support reclassification of roles
Ensure clarity and alignment between titles, classifications, and responsibilities
Performance Management & Internal Mobility

Support the implementation of new performance management processes
Assist with goal-setting structure
Establish clear internal movement process and growth pathways


Ideal Candidate Profile:

Senior-level HR professional or Compensation Consultant
Manufacturing industry experience
Job grading and classification experience
Career frameworks and compensation experience

Able to work closely with leadership and directors
Comfortable navigating complex, highly tenured environments
