Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring for Data Center Technicians in Ankeny, Iowa. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to Splice and test 12 Strand Ribbon Fiber
• Pull, route, and secure low-voltage cables including CAT 5/6, coaxial, and fiber optics in new construction environment.
• Install support structures, such as cable trays and conduit, for efficient cable routing.
• Troubleshoot cable infrastructure on commercial or industrial projects, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects.
• Rack and stack, closet work, and assembling server racks.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in structured cabling and telecommunications installation is a plus but not required. We welcome candidates at all skill levels.
• Knowledge of universal color codes for cable identification and labeling.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as EIA, TIA, BICSI, or NEC is not required, but preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Possession of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and basic hand tools.
• Reliable transportation.
