Join our dynamic team as a Diesel Service Technician, where your expertise will keep our heavy-duty vehicles and equipment running smoothly! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of diesel engines and related systems. Your hands-on skills will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our from farm machinery to industrial equipment. What you’ll do

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and Diesel injection systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles including clutch replacements, tractor splitting and transmission repair.
• Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and conduct diagnostics.
• Operate heavy equipment such as Tractors excavators, and forklift safely and efficiently.
• Using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all service work performed.

Basic qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience in a dealership or service technician role.
• Experience with tractors, excavators and skid steer repairs is preferred.
