\n \n\n \nThe role you'll contribute :
\n \n\n \nResponsible for applying the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to adult populations to identify, treat and monitor nutrition related problems. This role actively participates in providing outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining respectful relationships with all. Contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of patient care through diligent performance of assigned duties.
\n \n\n \nThe value you'll bring to the team :
\n \n\n \nCompletes nutrition-focused physical assessments, takes measurements, reviews medical records, collects data via interviews, and evaluates anthropometric status.
\n \nEvaluates assessment data to identify nutrition risks, nutrition problems, criteria consistent with malnutrition, knowledge deficits, and high-risk health behaviors.
\n \nOffers nutrition interventions, orders, education, counseling, and referrals to other services. May place feeding tubes or perform indirect calorimetry studies.
\n \nProvides counseling and education using evidence-based techniques that reflect appropriate health literacy and cultural sensitivity to patients with disease processes requiring nutritional management.
\n \nMonitors and evaluates nutrition care plans to reach nutrition goals and promote optimal outcomes.
\n \nSupervises practice experience for dietetic interns, dietetic technicians, registration eligible dietitians and new employees, participates in research, performance improvement, and initiatives.
\n \n\n \nQualifications
\n \nThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
\n \n\n \nBachelor's Degree - Required
\n \n1 Year Work Experience - Required\n \nRegistered Dietitian (RD) FL License - Required
