Job Description
FatCat Strategies is looking for a full-time team member who is passionate about lead generation and about building relationships with our home improvement & remodeling clients. Your role is to take marketing ideas and strategies from concept to completion. You will be on the frontlines of communication for our clients, managing their ongoing performance and championing efforts to surpass their goals.
This role is focused on the management, retainment, and growth of client engagements by strategizing and managing the continuous improvement of our digital marketing tactics. This includes organic search, paid search, email marketing, social media, brand awareness and website management with the help of a production staff. The Account Manager helps their clients with a 360-view of their business goals and can introduce complementary digital services from our partners if needed.
The Account Manager is directly responsible for day-to-day communication with clients, long-term account strategy and results, and coordinating with our in-house production staff. They must effectively interpret, package and communicate feedback and requests from the client to the FatCat team.

All candidates must have experience in a digital marketing role and foundational knowledge of digital marketing principles (including search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising and paid social media advertising).
Candidates with minimal agency experience (including internships and bootcamps) are encouraged to apply as Junior Account Managers, who will learn the ropes under the supervision of a Senior Account Manager, and build a career path at FatCat.
Candidates who wish to be considered for Senior Account Manager positions (which include training and supervising Junior Account Managers, in addition to managing client accounts) must have 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or client-facing roles.
In this job, you will:
Be the primary point of contact for your accounts.
Manage client requests and answer questions.
Oversee online lead generation campaigns from concept to execution. This means you will be responsible for developing/presenting new ideas for campaign messages, timing, and tactics for your clients.
Manage overall strategy and content calendars for your clients. This includes big picture planning and approval of blog posts, social media posts, emails, and PPC campaigns.
Project manage the completion of tasks by interfacing with our design, social media, SEO, and PPC staff.
Interpret and communicate results and KPIs from SEO, PPC, email, and social media efforts.
Schedule and lead client-facing meetings.
Manage deadlines and budgets.
Review client goals and drive the development of marketing strategy to maximize performance.
Effectively communicate marketing results and opportunities on a regular basis to your clients.
Manage expectations and maintain open lines of communication with clients to improve satisfaction and retention.
NOTE: depending on your experience and skillset, you may be considered for a Junior Account Manager position instead of Account Manager. We are excited to discuss the opportunities for career growth from this position.

Requirements
Ideal candidates will have:
Foundational knowledge of online digital marketing platforms, including but not limited to: Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, etc.
Experience with SEO tactics and tools. This includes developing content strategies, overseeing on-page optimization tasks, and utilizing tools such as SEMRush, SpyFu, etc.
Proficiency in basic business tools, including but not limited to: Google Suite, ClickUp (or similar project/task management system), CRMs, etc.
Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to independently prioritize tasks and your workday.
The ability to pivot quickly when necessary to meet client performance needs.
Work Location: Hybrid in Raleigh, NC (must be able to work on-site multiple days per week)
*This role will be strictly in-person only for the beginning of your employment until we’re both comfortable with being virtual part-time.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours flexible between 8:00am-6:00pm
