We are seeking a Dispatcher to directly manage an internal fleet of drivers while optimizing their routes across NJ & PA. As the Dispatcher, you will play a pivotal role in managing the execution of daily operations. Serving as a central communication point, you will work cross-functionally with department leaders to ensure our clients’ needs are met/exceeded

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and coordinate the pick-up and deliveries of materials across the footprint, ensuring we maintain integrity with our transportation schedule
• Process and ensure data integrity with all needed documentation (BOL, Manifests, O&D forms, etc) within our operating system
• Perform route optimization on multi-stop routes to maximize the reach and increase the efficiency of our internal fleet
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment, continuously optimizing and training drivers on how to properly operate their units safely while on the road & at transfer stations
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and company policies
• Troubleshoot delivery discrepancies across NJ & PA, providing timely solutions to overcome the complications
• Support the Senior Leadership team with reporting, planning and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Dispatching experience, preferably with multi-stop routes
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Efficient in dispatching software, GPS tracking & MS Office
