TAP Resource Teacher

Salary: $34,320

Hours: 30 hours

Shift: Part-Time

Our team is currently seeking a Resource Teacher for our Technical Assistance (TAP) Program

This position will provide on-site training and consultation that supports the inclusion of children with special needs (birth through 12 years of age) in community childcare programs.

Major responsibilities:

• Provide on-site training, consultation, and support to inclusive child care programs in *Cuyahoga County.
• Collaborate with parents and service providers to set goals for children in child care and early education settings, and to be a resource for needed services.

*The service area for this position will be the eastern parts of Cuyahoga County.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Three (3) years of experience working with children with disabilities in child care settings
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population of adults
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, as well as an acceptable driving record.
