Electrical Assembly Technician / AC Assembly

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Assembler / Technician role includes assembly and testing of battery cabinets, telecommunications and other electrical equipment

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow and understand all Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and procedures related to manufacturing of quality products.
• Comply with quality procedures including calibrated tools, preventative maintenance tools, perishable materials and handling of defective materials.
• Accurately torque as required per specification using properly calibrated tools.
• Accurately record meter readings including voltage to ensure compliance with standards.
• Produce work safely and efficiently while meeting all quality standards
• Produce assemblies within standard lead time per workbench and clocking’s.
• Visual inspection of material before and after assembly, including video and photos.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area per housekeeping standards, including tool carts.
• Establish and maintain cooperative work relationships with all employees and promote a team environment.
• Keeping WIP areas stocked with Inventory needed to perform duties.
• Train colleagues and provide feedback to manager on improvements, defective equipment and/or safety concerns.
  
  

Requirements:

• Must have some technical experience in electrical work (transformers).
• Must have previous Manufacturing Experience
• Must be familiar with Wiring, Electrical Circuits.
• Willing to cross train in other areas as
