Position Overview

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring workplace safety and compliance with health and environmental regulations. This role is essential for fostering a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety programs and policies.
• Train employees on health and safety protocols.
• Conduct inspections to identify hazards and violations.
• Prepare and submit compliance documents to regulatory agencies.
• Monitor operational processes and employee activities for safety.
• Generate reports, manuals, and documentation related to health and safety.
• Stay updated on the latest EHS trends and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years in environmental engineering, safety management, or a related field.
• Certification in OSHA or similar EHS standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in tools like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Detailed knowledge of regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and ANSI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Experience in welding and fabrication environments
