Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated  Mid-Level Software Application Tester  to be responsible for s upporting a set of
cloud-based analytics that are built on the corporate infrastructure and
incorporate various technologies for our federal client.  

The Software Application Tester will provide specific input
to the software components for adherence to system design, such as requirements
synthesis and analysis from the system level down to individual software
components, software reuse, trade-offs between hardware and software, and the
use of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) in
lieu of new development. Must be able to operate both independently and in a
group.

Responsibilities

• Create,
  maintain, and improve a wide range of complex software systems (such as
  real-time systems, business  management information systems, processing –
  intensive analytics, innovative algorithm development,
  and manipulation  of extraordinarily large data sets) based on documented
  requirements
  
• Examine and
  test software components
  
• Debug existing software; software defect reports will be resolved by
  Software Application Tester
  
• Adhere to
  development environment – appropriate software development and design
  methodologies
  
• Provide
  specific input to the software components for adherence to system design
  
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software
  development process standards
  

Requirements

• 14 years of
  Software Application Testing experience on projects with similar software processes
  
• Experience
  with automated testing and generating test scripts
  
• Experience
  with behavior-driven development (BDD), such as Cucumber and Lettuce
  
• Experience managing
  software code using w/Git and Maven
  
• Experience developing
  automated test scripts w/Selenium, SoapUI, Katalon, Cucumber
  
• Experience
  with STEP, TD&E, and AO testing processes
  
• Experience
  working in a SAFE Agile software development environment
  
  

Clearance  

Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active High-Level Security
Clearance to be considered for this position

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
or Other Related Discipline or High School Diploma with an additional 4+ years
of experience
