Pay: $15+

Shift: 6am-230pm

Full Time

Shipping and Receiving Forklift Driver

Shipping Clerk should have some experience in and warehouse activities in order to perform at the job. Forklift Experience is required. The candidate should have experience with data entry software like Microsoft Office. Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables. Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately. Knowledge of Forklift and Pallet Jack preferred. Dealing with Lumber products of various materials and sizes.

Job Duties :

Primary Duties:

• Assist in obtaining required documents.
• Strong Forklift Skills
• Prepare, distribute, communicate and verify all required
• documents to appropriate departments.
• Notify any nonconforming products and equipment to supervisor
• Ensure all necessary supplies are readily available.
• Support and follow company policies and maintain professional
• conduct in all business matters.
• Work with fellow workers in team atmosphere.
• Maintain Inventory via WMS Data Entry
• Maintain warehouse and equipment in good condition.
• Ensure packaging requirements are satisfied.
• Ensure that shipping documents and receiving documents are filled out correctly.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the shipping and receiving area.
• Ensure product is stored in organized manner
• Support and follow company policies and maintain professional
• conduct in all business matters.
• Other duties as required and assigned

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
• Related experience required
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Essential Skills:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple step instructions
• Ability to multitask

Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee regularly lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The employee is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and can be exposed to climates consistent with outside weather conditions .
