Job Description

Join a leading line pipe distributor in South Houston as a Forklift Operator on a temp-to-hire basis. In this role, you'll manage and organize stock, handle incoming shipments, and ensure efficient order processing. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts, sorting and placing materials, and maintaining organizational standards in the pipe yard. Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to unload trucks and move stock.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by organizing shelves and work areas.
• Assist with shipping and receiving, including preparing and verifying shipments.
• Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and company guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a pipe yard and operating forklifts.
• Experience with heavy equipment industrial forklifts (25K pounds+).
• Forklift Certification required.
• Experience handling carbon and stainless-steel pipes preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

The base hourly range for this position is $18- $20 an hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation.
