Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) and IR (Investor Relations) Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will provide valuable financial insights and analysis, contributing to key business decisions. You will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, investor relations, and performance analysis to support the company's objectives and long-term growth.

This position requires a proactive individual who can collaborate across departments, provide financial expertise, and communicate effectively with senior leadership. You'll be part of a dynamic, supportive team that values integrity, transparency, and accountability.

Responsibilities:

As an FP&A and IR Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

- Developing and maintaining complex financial models that consider factors like gas prices, production volumes, transportation costs, and regulatory impacts.
- Preparing regular forecasts and analyzing variances between actual and budgeted performance.
- Working closely with various departments to create annual budgets aligned with the company's strategic goals.
- Assisting in the development of multi-year forecasts and long-term financial plans.
- Conducting margin analysis for various projects and business segments.
- Generating financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for senior management.
- Presenting key financial insights, trends, and risk assessments to leadership and stakeholders.
- Monitoring and analyzing natural gas price trends, geopolitical factors, and regulatory changes to assess their impact on financial performance.
- Contributing to strategies that hedge against price volatility or capitalize on favorable market conditions.
- Identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable financial solutions.
- Supporting strategic initiatives, investment analysis, and business development efforts.
- Assisting in shaping the investor relations strategy and communications.
- Analyzing financial and operational data for investor and analyst reporting.
- Responding to investor and analyst inquiries and providing data as needed.
- Coordinating investor calls, meetings, analyst days, and roadshows.
- Assisting with earnings reports, press releases, and other financial communications.
- Performing additional duties as requested.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting, ideally within the energy or commodities sectors.
- Proficiency with financial software and reporting tools (Oracle experience preferred).
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards related to investor relations.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and other relevant digital tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or similar roles, preferably within the natural gas or energy industries.
- Solid experience with financial modeling and data analysis.

Licenses & Certifications:

- CPA certification preferred but not required.

Physical Demands / Working Conditions:

- This position is based in Denver, CO, with remote work options available.
- Indoor work environment, requiring repetitive motions and use of standard office equipment.
- Occasional exposure to moderate noise in shared office spaces.
- Some travel may be required.

Salary Range:

- $74,000 to $122,000
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 40,000.00 140,000.00 Per Year
