Farmboy Fine Arts is looking to contract experienced Freelance Graphic Designer to help craft and execute art and environmental graphic design solutions!

The contract opportunity:

As a Freelance Graphic Designer you will execute a projects conceptual vision, delivering high-quality graphic packages for projects across a variety of industries, including hospitality, healthcare, and workspace. Informed by your understanding of art, graphics, and the built environment you will create and curate innovative and compelling artworks and environmental graphics.

What you do:

• Work closely with Farmboys Art Directors, Art & Curatorial team, Project Managers and other Designers to develop and execute art collections, artworks and graphics for projects of various type and scale.

• Conceive and develop innovative and creative solutions while followingcreative and art direction.

• Create and layout presentations that clearly communicate concepts and ideas, including the integration of art content, architectural drawings, illustrations and diagrams.

• Balance adiverse setofdesignprojectsrangingfromdesign and curation tothedevelopment of custom art piecesandassetcreation.

• Demonstrate understanding of the project objectives and design deliverables and ensure all work delivered is fully aligned with the stated vision and objectives, adhering to approved hours and/or budget.

Your skills:

• 5-7 years experience in:

• Graphic Design, working across the Adobe Creative Suite

• Expertise in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop

• Providing creative services as it relates tobuiltenvironments, working within the hospitality, health & wellness, retail and/or corporate sectors with national and international companies.

• Proven experience and track record in graphic design, narrative-building and creativeplace making.

• An ability to effectivelymanage multiple designs of varying complexity.

• A passion for art and a genuine interest in the art industry.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  

Let us know if you have:

• Experience in interior design, architecture, art consultation, art curating, or equivalent.

• Experience with large construction projects strong knowledge of the A&D industry and its general stakeholders.

• Environmental Graphic Design and Wayfindingpractices.

• Formal training in architectural drawings, elevations and interior design renders(CAD).

• Formal training in healthcare design.

• 3D Skills and print production considered an asset
