Traders from all backgrounds will be considered. The appropriate candidate will operate in a flexible and creative role and be given a wide variety of available resources to explore, develop, and implement trading ideas. The trader will execute a variety of products across multiple asset classes and will work closely with other group members and analysts to help cultivate new trading models. Qualifications and Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or specific sciences, such as Physics; a Master's Degree in these areas of study is a plus. At least 24 months of professional, full-time trading experience. Must have some programming experience or quantitative knowledge, a technical background, and an understanding of economic fundamentals. Desire to learn about financial markets and economic theories; must have demonstrated interest in trading financial instruments either through academic work and/or professional experience. Strong math aptitude, numerical and quantitative analysis skills, and problem-solving skills. Ability to make excellent decisions under pressure. Entrepreneurial self-starter ready to work in a fast-paced team environment. Pro-active thinker with the ability to spot problems before they arise. Must be highly competitive, driven, and disciplined. Team player with strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
