Sodexo is looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead our food service operations at Holyoke Public Schools in Holyoke, MA. This isn't just about managing a kitchen; it's about being a strategic partner in the community and a leader in the Western Massachusetts region.
In this role, you will lead the culinary program for a vibrant school district, ensuring every student has access to high-quality, nutritious meals. You will be at the forefront of innovation, collaborating with regional partners to improve sustainability and food accessibility.
What You’ll Do:
Lead with Purpose: Manage and mentor a diverse team of food service professionals across the district.
Drive Innovation: Implement strategic initiatives that improve food quality, sustainability, and student engagement.
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, financial performance (P&L), and safety compliance.
Strategic Partnerships: Build strong relationships with school administration, faculty, and the community.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 3+ years of management experience and 4+ years in K-12 school nutrition programs.
Education: Associate’s degree in Nutrition, Culinary Arts, Business, or a related field.
Leadership: A collaborative management style with a track record of high employee engagement.
Technical Skills: Strong culinary production knowledge and comfort with food management systems.
Requirement: A valid driver’s license.
