About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Airline Operations Control to lead the evolution of its Flight Operations and Operations Control Center capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the control center, including monitoring real-time data, managing a team of operators, and making critical decisions to ensure the smooth functionality of systems and processes. This role involves incident management, policy development, system optimization, and communication management, all with a focus on maintaining operational efficiency and addressing disruptions in a timely manner. Applicants must have a background in managing a Network or Operations Control Center for an airline, with experience in the US, Caribbean, and South America. Experience in Europe is preferred. The role requires strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, as well as technical proficiency in relevant control center systems and software. An in-depth understanding of operational procedures and industry regulations is essential, as is a proven ability to analyze data and identify trends for operational improvements. The Head will also be responsible for staff development, ensuring that the team is trained and equipped to meet the changing operational needs of the company.
