The work will be challenging, but always rewarding. **It's Work That Matters.** **Overview** **Schedule:** Monday-Friday; 9:00am - 5:30pm **Purpose Statement/Position Summary:** The Health Science & Behavioral Research Associate I is under the supervision of the Research Associates/Research Managers, recruits project participants and administers structured and/or interview survey materials. May be responsible for data collection, data entry, and/or study documentation. Conducts literature searches, writes summary documents, and may participate in the design of studies and metrics. **Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:** + Demonstrated experience in Python, MATLAB, and related programming environments for data analysis, visualization, and model development. + Experience in quantitative and qualitative research, including survey design, participant interviews, data interpretation, and statistical analysis. + Ability to prepare regulatory applications, proposals, and write academic abstracts/manuscripts. + Experience in independently executing research study procedures and patient recruitment. + Strong project management skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Ability to manage multiple activities flexibly and simultaneously (multi-tasking). + Excellent writing skills with high attention to detail. + Resourcefulness, adaptability, patience, and strong prioritization skills. + Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including coordinating participant appointments and interviews in collaboration with research laboratory staff. + Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred. **Education/Licensure/Certification:** High school diploma or equivalent. College education in related discipline preferred. **Pay Scale Information** USD $57,949.00 - USD $95,202.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
