This is NOT an entry level position and has VERY SPECIFIC work experience and license requirements. This position requires at least 3 years of Landscaper work experience, 1 year of Landscaping Crew Leader work experience and at least 1 year of Campus or Hospital Porter work experience at a Company/Companies we can contact to verify. This positions also requires a Driver's License (preferably a Chauffeur's license or the ability to obtain before starting work). Any Candidate chosen must submit to and pass a Criminal Background check, driver's records check and a DDOT Medical exam that includes a Drug Test.
RATE OF PAY IS DEPENDENT UPON PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES YOU HOLD, STARTING at $18 PER HOUR.
If your resume does not show ALL of your LANDSCAPER, LANDSCAPING CREW LEADER AND PORTER WORK EXPERIENCE as well as the required Licenses; your Application WILL BE REJECTED. Heres what youd do:
The Porter will be responsible for executing site level tasks on BrightViews client sites.
Youd be responsible for:
+ Keeping the premises of BrightViews clients grounds in clean and orderly condition
+ Light landscaping
+ Transport trash and waste to disposal area
+ Demonstrate strong professionalism and integrity while representing BrightView
+ Assist maintenance team with snow removal (as applicable)
+ Physically walk the property on a frequent basis and remove litter
+ Clean and rake shrub areas; shovel mud when necessary
+ Use blower to keep sidewalks and walking areas clean of loose grass and brush Repair and replace windows, screens, sliding glass doors, etc
+ Driving to designated areas in vehicle and picking up trash with trash grabbers
+ Other Duties as assigned
