Overview

We are seeking a junior Human Systems Integration Engineer to support our Washington, DC office. Candidate will assist in the analysis and design of human factors engineering, manpower, training, safety, and habitability to support system performance and reduce ownership costs. Work will contribute to ensuring systems are optimized for human use and mission effectiveness.

What will you do?

• Provide integrated and comprehensive analysis, design, and assessment of requirements, concepts, and resources for human factors engineering, manpower, personnel, training, safety and occupational health, force protection and survivability, and habitability.

• Ensure human performance is optimized to increase total system performance and minimize total system ownership costs.
\n

Do you have what it takes?

Required skills:

\n
• 1 year - 4 years of relevant experience
\n
• Relevant Human Systems Integration (HIS) engineering experience related R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs.
\n
• Must have active DoD Secret Clearance and ability to sustain one
\n

Preferred skills:

\n
• Bachelor's level degree in engineering, physical science, or mathematics or a related filed
\n
• Professional Engineer License
\n
• Relevant Human Systems Integration (HIS) engineering experience related R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs for Navy shipbuilding and defense systems
\n

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $60,000 - $82,799 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.

This position is contingent upon contract award
