We are hiring an HVAC Apprentice to join our Installation Team!

We are family owned and operated HVAC, Heating, AC, and Indoor Air Quality service company, providing high-quality heating and cooling service in Shelby and Talladega County, and surrounding communities since 2001.

Job Title: HVAC Apprentice - Entry-Level Installer

Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime

Pay Rate: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on skill level

What you will be doing:

• Residential and light commercial installations
  • Taking out old units and installing new
  • Installing and insulating duct work
  • brazing copper pipe
  • Building platforms
  • Wiring up thermostat
• Using power tools - saws, drills, torches, etc.
• Working with a lead and receiving hands-on instruction
• Gaining experience to take the EPA Certification exam

Qualifications / Skills:

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• 6 months of HVAC experience or a combination of education and experience desired but not required
• Construction or similar industry experience desired but not required
• Ability to obtain EPA Certification once employed
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times
• Must be able to take direction from Lead workers and Supervisors
• Ability to follow directions given, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to use a tape measure correctly
• Ability to use power tools safely and correctly
• Ability to carry 100lbs overhead with assistance
• Ability to unload and load truck as needed
• Well organized and ability to work independently and as a team
• High school diploma or equivalent
