Janitor Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team as a 1099 subcontractor. This role offers the opportunity to work in a cool, temperature-controlled warehouse environment, ensuring cleanliness and order for a safe and welcoming space. The ideal Janitor candidate will have hands-on experience in cleaning, maintenance, and general janitorial tasks.

Janitor Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Janitor or in a similar cleaning role
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment
• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Reliable and organized, with excellent time management skills

Janitor Responsibilities:

• Perform daily Janitor tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a clean and safe warehouse
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are fully stocked and ready for use
• Empty trash and recycling bins and manage proper waste disposal
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and high-touch areas for a polished and hygienic workspace
• Address spills, stains, and other cleaning needs promptly and efficiently
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good condition
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with cleaning standards
• Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs in the warehouse

Additional Requirements for Janitor Role:

• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled warehouse setting
• Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional weekend shifts if needed
• Reliable transportation to the work location
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
