Essential Duties and Responsibilities : (Other duties may be assigned) Assist the Cloud Engineer by monitoring and maintaining servers, software, network hardware, and their related components, automating routine tasks and eliminating manual processes wherever possible. Perform related tasks on projects pertaining to Information Technology initiatives on the Operations side. Act as an escalation point (L3) for our internal Help Desk. Fill in as backup for the Cloud Engineer during vacations and on-call schedules as needed. Field and complete incoming tier 3 requests from the Help Desk and DevOps teams. Contribute to IT projects related to security, compliance efforts, systems administration & employee experience. Act as the liaison between the Help Desk, Business Intelligence, and Development Operations Teams. Maintain and contribute to the company's knowledge base by documenting processes and solutions to common support requests. Research, recommend, and implement enhancements to current information systems and processes with the assistance of the Cloud Engineer. Assist with escalated security alerts. Move and install computer and network equipment as needed. Perform on-call rotation for monitoring servers and review security alerts after hours. Assist with technical administration and configuration management support within an Azure cloud-based environment and provide documentation for internal reference of best practices. Field and complete incoming tier 3 requests or IT Operation requests. Administer company systems and developer tools as part of regular day-to-day operations. Configure Azure Cloud Management policies to control user access, session behavior, and performance settings. Maintain and monitor security tools such as Cisco Umbrella, Duo, Meraki MDM, SentinelOne, and Blumira SIEM. Assist the Cloud Engineer with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: work with the Security Officer to develop and maintain the current company policies. Configure and deploy security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus, and encryption solutions. Additional responsibilities related to IT operations as required by the business.

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, Azure services, and architecture. Experience with Azure Resource Manager templates and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices Strong knowledge of Google Workspace, Linux platforms, Microsoft Windows, and MAC Operating Systems Experience with Powershell, Python, or shell scripting languages - desirable 5–7 years' experience in a service desk and/or IT operations role Experience building and maintaining controls related to compliance efforts and standards such as SOC2, NIST, etc. Experience administering common business systems and SAAS services, e.g., GitHub, Google Apps, Jira, etc. Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Devopshunt
