We are seeking a a hard-working and reliable Skilled Laborer who has good work ethics to join our team! You will be responsible for providing assistance to traffic line pavement marking operator and/or route driver.

​Responsibilities:

• Drives company vehicles to job sites.
• Loads and unloads materials and equipment on vehicles.
• Cleans gravel; rock; dirt; sand; grass; oil; grease; antifreeze, etc. from surfaces.
• Mixes paint and fills striping machines and thermoplastic kettles.
• Installs various signs; wheel stops; and temporary pavement markers.
• Cleans job site area; equipment; and tools at the end of each day.
• Cleans vehicles (inside and out) and keeps warehouse clean.
• Assists route driver with delivering, cleaning and sanitizing, pumping, relocating, and picking up, etc. portable toilets at various locations and/or job sites.
• Assists with parking lot and/or roadway layouts and restripes.
• Assists with crack sealing and seal coating parking lots.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

​ Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid Virginia driver's license with a good driving record
• Must pass background check and drug test
• Good verbal and written communication
• Active listening
• Basic mathematics
• Ability to drive pickup truck with a 10 to 20 foot trailer.
• Ability to handle physical workload by lifting and/or carrying objects up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to bend and/or stoop and to climb a six-foot ladder
• Ability to work effectively in all weather conditions
