Our client, a respected full-service law firm with a national footprint, is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join their Baton Rouge office. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys managing the full billing cycle while collaborating closely with attorneys and administrative staff.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with legal billing processes, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Youll be part of a dynamic billing team and report directly to the firms Billing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and finalize client invoices in compliance with individual billing guidelines
• Manage appeals and write-offs, including supporting documentation and submission
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding Work-in-Progress (WIP)
• Communicate with attorneys and staff regarding billing protocols and client-specific requirements
• Ensure accurate setup of billing details, task codes, and rate structures in the system
• Provide backup support for real estate trust disbursements and file maintenance
• Perform other billing-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or at least 2 years of experience in legal billing (law firm experience highly preferred)
• Familiarity with 3E, Elite, or similar billing software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
