WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Manhattan, New York.

Full-time Hybrid UAS RN needed to do field visits for a large Medicaid assessment organization in Manhattan. This position is 3 days on site, 2 days remote and offers an opportunity to be part of one of the most reputable organizations in New York!

Job Function:

\n

• Mon-Fri -- 5d x 8hrs flexible hours - (830a-430p, 9a-5p, or 10a-6p)

• Conduct preliminary in-home evaluations for consumers.
\n
• Review assessments to determine if the correct conclusion for eligibility of services was reached by the nurse assessor.
\n
• Collect data related to assessments and assessment outcomes.
\n
• Examine each case for completeness, accuracy and consistency.
\n
• Analyze UAS recommended scores in relation to nurse assessor determinations.
\n
• Conduct scheduled home visits with the nurse assessor.
\n
• Examines data for outliers and researches such cases.
\n
• Develop/complete reports that track and trend activities/outcomes.
\n
• Act as an advisor to UAS staff on all QA and compliance issues related to the UAS project.
\n
• Attend Fair Hearing cases and prepare case packets, as required.
\n

Job Requirements:

• Required Education NYS RN Licensure
\n
• 2 years of RN homecare experience required
\n
• Must be able to travel to Manhattan.
\n
