HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Per Diem is seeking a local contract nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a local contract nursing job in Overland Park, Kansas.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Local Contract

Minimum of most recent 1 year of acute care experience in a hospital setting within the specific specialty
Appropriate Certifications as required for specific position
Every other weekend requirement
Commitment of 36 hours per week

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· BLS, NRP

· At least 1-year level III NICU experience

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Experience with CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, central line management, milk preparation

· Lab draws

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· Assistance with circumcisions, PICC line placement, umbilical line placement

· Lumbar puncture, lab draws
