Position Highlights
An exciting opportunity to work in diverse environments across Middlesex Medical Group. This position will float to primary care and specialty practices throughout Middlesex County. Will receive hourly stipend and mileage reimbursement.
Position Summary
Applies the nursing process with patients and families, integrating principles that reflect sensitivity to their age-specific/developmental needs, gender, culture, religion, psychosocial and socioeconomic backgrounds in order to provide evidence-based, holistic care in a manner that respects the worth and dignity of each individual. Practices professional nursing as a licensed practical nurse within the legal and ethical framework established by the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice and Code for Nurses, American Nurses Association Home Health Nursing, National Hospice Association and applicable regulatory agencies.
Minimum Qualifications
A licensed Practical Nurse who is a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, currently licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut. Has the knowledge and skills necessary to assess health needs of patients and to perform nursing care in a safe, caring manner.

Previous medical office experience
