Job Description

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and production, is seeking a Contingent Machine Operator to join their team. As a Contingent Machine Operator, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in the mix room. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Contingent Machine Operator

Location: Independence, OR

Pay Range: $20.00

Shift: First

What's the Job?

• Operate a computer-controlled production system for multiple raw material ingredients in the mix room.
• Coordinate with material handlers and heavy equipment operators to ensure proper material usage.
• Fill shakers (mixers) to maintain continuous production flow.
• Perform quality checks including weighing and volume assessments to meet standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment through housekeeping duties and safety practices.

What's Needed?

• Ability to read instructions and follow safety procedures.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders or on your feet for extended periods.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working in dusty, hot, cold, or rainy environments.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues.
