Job Summary:
Tutor Doctor - North County San Diego, a leading education company, is seeking a talented and passionate Math and Physics Tutor to join our team in N. County, San Diego. This is a part-time, hourly position that offers competitive compensation and a supportive work environment. As a Math and Physics Tutor, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with students in their homes, helping them improve their understanding and performance in these subject areas.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $23 to $30 per hour, paid biweekly. Additionally, Tutor Doctor - North County San Diego offers a supportive and inclusive work environment, as well as ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities:
•Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in Math and Physics to high school students of various skill levels.
•Develop personalized lesson plans and learning strategies based on each student's unique needs and goals.
•Identify and address any knowledge gaps or misconceptions in the subject material.
•Proactively communicate with students and their parents/guardians to track progress and adjust tutoring techniques as needed.
•Collaborate with the Tutor Doctor - North County San Diego team to ensure student success and overall program effectiveness.

Preferred Skills:
•2 years of college level education toward a bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, or a related field.
•1 year of tutoring or teaching experience in Math and Physics.
•Strong knowledge of Math and Physics concepts and principles.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to adapt tutoring techniques to meet the learning styles and needs of individual students.
•Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to students' homes in N. County San Diego
