Mobile Patrol Security Officer - Full Time Former military / law enforcement encouraged to apply!!
Location: Reno, NV
Rate: $18.00/HR
Available Schedule: Multiple Shifts Available (32 Hours Per Week)
Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The
Mobile Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, which may include operating a vehicle to patrol. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
The Mobile Officer maintains the security and safety of multiple sites by conducting patrols via a motor vehicle. All you need is a valid driver's license and clean driving history, to be a great fit for this role! No experience? No problem! With a friendly and positive attitude we will provide the training and knowledge you need to be successful in the security industry.
What Your Day May Look Like: - Conflict resolution and De-escalation.
- Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client's premises.
- Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
- Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
- Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
- Provide detailed written witness reports.

Position Requirements: - 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Standard computer / technology skills needed.
- Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
- Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Active PILB card and a valid drivers license required.
- Clean MVR required - No at fault accidents or more that two moving violations within two years.
- Military, law enforcement, or prior security patrolling or supervision experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation needed.
- Must be able to walk, climb stairs, repeatedly get in / out of vehicles.
- Must be able to lift / push or pull at least 50 lbs.
- Must have excellent intrapersonal skills when interacting with others.
- Must be able to work effectively and efficiently without direct supervision.
