Job Description

Surflight Theatre located in Beach Haven, NJ, 2 hours south of NYC on the Jersey Shore is seeking an experienced Musical Director for the 2025 Summer Season. Shows include Top Hat, 9 to 5, 42nd Street, West Side Story and possibly Buddy the Buddy Holly Story. Surflight has an LOA referenced to CORST contract and hires a resident company of performers who perform in most of the shows during the summer season in a resident company situation. Strong accompanist, vocal coaching, assignment of parts, ability to conduct shows and run tracks for some rehearsals and most performances. Arrival date would be May 12, 2025.

A single room with shared bathroom is included at no charge, in a shared housing unit within several feet of the theatre. Both the theatre and housing are one block from the beach.
