Job Description

New Market Partner & Community Engagement Manager

Navita Health is expanding across Ohio, and we're seeking a New Market Partner & Community Engagement Manager to lead the charge in expanding our presence across the state. This hybrid role combines strategic partner development with community engagement efforts to drive meaningful connections, recruit new clients and service providers, and increase the delivery and utilization of behavioral health services. You’ll play a critical role in building relationships with treatment centers, housing providers, local organizations, and community leaders to amplify Navita Health’s impact.

We’re looking for someone who is a natural relationship builder, thrives in new markets, and is passionate about improving access to substance use disorder and mental health recovery services.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with treatment centers, housing providers, and state or local programs.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in Ohio’s behavioral health landscape.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing partners, building trust from initial contact through long-term collaboration.
  • Customize partnership strategies based on market data, partner feedback, and service gaps.
  • Align Navita Health’s offerings with partner goals, ensuring shared success and sustainable growth.

Community Engagement & Outreach

  • Conduct outreach activities to engage and recruit new clients and service providers into the Navita Health ecosystem.
  • Support new providers with placement, training, certification and credentialing.
  • Build relationships with community organizations, leaders, and social networks to raise awareness and foster trust.
  • Coordinate and attend community events (educational, networking, wellness-focused) to deepen engagement and expand Navita Health’s presence.
  • Participate in local community boards, forums, and online platforms to promote community connection and service utilization.

Strategic Program Development

  • Track and report on key performance indicators, community needs, and feedback to guide strategic decisions and improve service delivery.
  • Lead or support the execution of local campaigns designed to drive visibility, retention, and community trust.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Health, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 2+ years of experience in partnership development, account management, community engagement, or outreach roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (SalesForce, HubSpot) and Google Suite.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of organization, initiative, and adaptability.
  • Passion for improving lives through accessible recovery support services.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license and active auto insurance and be open to regular MVR and background checks.
  • If in recovery, 3 years continuous sobriety is preferred.
  • Experience in the behavioral health or substance use disorder recovery field is strongly preferred.
  • Preferred skills in market research, data analysis, and strategy development.
